SOOM® is now a British Franchise Association advisor — and we’re bringing something to IFS in April that nobody in this industry has seen before.
Let’s start with the headline.
SOOM® is now an accredited advisor with the British Franchise Association. That means we’ve been vetted, assessed and formally recognised as meeting the standards required to advise franchise brands in the UK.
It matters. Not because we needed a badge — but because franchisors deserve to know the agency they’re trusting with their growth has been held to account by the industry body that sets the bar.
Most franchise marketing agencies haven’t done this. Some never will. Draw your own conclusions.
What BFA Accreditation Actually Means
The BFA doesn’t hand these out like loyalty cards. The accreditation process requires evidence of ethical standards, commercial credibility and genuine franchise expertise. It’s a due diligence exercise — on us.
For franchisors, it means one less thing to worry about. You’re working with an agency the BFA has independently assessed. Not one that just claims to “understand franchising” on a landing page.
Any agency can say they specialise in franchising. Fewer can prove it.
We’ve always operated to that standard. Now it’s official.
But That’s Not Why We’re Writing This
The accreditation is a milestone. Genuinely proud of it. But it’s not the whole story.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been building something. Quietly. Deliberately. For a long time.
We’re not ready to say exactly what it is — not yet. But here’s what we will say:
It’s not a service. It’s not a new package or a rebrand or a strategy deck.
It’s a product. Built from the ground up. Custom-engineered for franchise networks.
Nothing like it exists in the UK franchise agency space. We’ve checked.
It changes the way franchisors manage recruitment, operations and growth — not by adding another tool to the stack, but by replacing the stack entirely.
If you’ve ever felt like your management processes lives across six different platforms, your follow-up process depends on someone remembering to check an inbox, or your head office has no real-time visibility over what’s actually happening in the pipeline — this was built for you.
Why We’re Telling You Now
Because we’re launching it at the International Franchise Show in April.
Not a teaser. Not a concept. A live, working product that franchise brands can see, touch and interrogate.
We’ll be at ExCeL London, and if you’re a franchisor who’s tired of duct-taping your recruitment process together with spreadsheets and good intentions — come and find us.
We didn’t build another boring piece of software. We built what should have existed years ago.
We’re keeping the details under wraps until the show. But we’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks — enough to give you a sense of what’s coming, without giving the game away entirely.
What This Means for the Franchise Industry
There’s a gap in this market. Everyone knows it. Franchise brands are expected to compete in 2026 using tools and processes designed for 2016. Manual qualification. Disconnected platforms. Gut-feel reporting. No AI. No automation. No single source of truth.
Most agencies in this space sell services. We do too — and we’re bloody good at it. But services alone don’t solve an infrastructure problem.
So we built the infrastructure.
BFA accreditation proves we operate to the highest standards. What we’re launching at IFS proves we’re not content to just meet the standard — we want to set a new one.

Come and see what we’ve built. You won’t see it anywhere else.
One More Thing
If you’re a franchisor already working with an agency that doesn’t have BFA accreditation, doesn’t build its own technology and doesn’t have a product roadmap — ask yourself what exactly you’re paying for.
Strategy decks are easy to write. Platforms are not.
We’ll see you in April.
